The Best Things in Life Aren’t Things at All

As we hurry about purchasing gifts, attending parties and trying to create the perfect holiday, I felt a need to take pause and remind myself that the best things in life aren’t things at all. So as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ I want to offer the following tips to aid in cultivating more joy during this holiday season:
1. Don’t Over Spend on gifts – Gifts should be given with intention and purpose and should not cause stress –they should also be within your budget. If funds are limited be creative and focus on the small things that will bring joy.

2. Spend Some Time Volunteering – Although the holidays bring great joy to most for others the holiday season can be a reminder of loss and regret. Bring some holiday cheer to others by volunteering or inviting someone who may be alone to dinner.

3. Focus on What You Have – There is always something more to buy however during this season take the time to focus on what you have. Be grateful for all that you have and take the time to be concerned about tomorrow problems tomorrow.

4. Spend Time With Those Who Matter Most – As the years progress memories of the actual gifts you give and receive may fade however the memories you create with your family and friends are often cherished and called upon for years to come. So this Christmas choose to spend some time creating memories that will last a lifetime.

What’s Your Next Step?

Hello,

Now that kids are back in school, the to-do’s get longer, the relaxed pace of the summer dissipates and the clutter seems to creep back in.

Clutter manifests in more ways than one.

Most people immediately recognize the piles – of unfolded laundry, unwashed dishes, unopened mail, unfiled paperwork – as the visible indicators of a person who is frazzled, unorganized and not quite “on top of things”.

But what about mental clutter that keeps you from making tough decisions? What about the emotional clutter that leaves you hanging on to people and relationships that no longer serve you?

Most people’s clutter – whether physical or mental – stems from the same source: indecisiveness. If you are a person who can’t decide you may find yourself frequently paralyzed into inaction. You’re late to appointments because you couldn’t decide what to wear. You start tasks that you never finish. You move from one thing to the next. Or worse you don’t move at all. And it’s all because you fail to make the right decisions at the right time. You’re never quite sure what should happen next.

That’s where I come in. My gift is an ability to quickly assess your personal landscape and see a full picture of what’s really going on. I identify the most pressing problem and make the most prudent recommendation about what needs to happen next. I’ve helped clients quickly make BIG DECISIONS like which job to take, which person to date, and whether to make a big cross-country move. If you’re feeling stuck in your life, in your job or personally maybe it’s time for you to get some support to figure out what’s next for you.

I’ll help you do three things – DECIDE, SET YOUR PRIORITIES, and TAKE THE RIGHT STEP FORWARD. When you do these three things, you’ll change your life.

You are worth the investment! Make the commitment to yourself today! Currently, I’m accepting new coaching clients and I would be delighted to work with You!

What’s your next step?

Make it a great day,

Kimberly
